Prabowo Praises The Current Government: Is It In The Middle Of 280 Million People, Is There A Lack?

JAKARTA - Presidential Candidate number 2, Prabowo Subianto praised the government's resilience to trials in defense and security.

This was conveyed by Prabowo during the presentation of the vision and mission of the inaugural presidential election at the KPU Building, Central Jakarta, Tuesday, December 12.

"We understand that there are still many shortcomings, but we are grateful, in the midst of a world full of uncertain challenges, where there is a war everywhere, where countries have riots, Indonesia is still safe, still peaceful, Indonesia is still under control, prices are still under control, the economy of our society is still safe," said Prabowo.

According to Prabowo, this situation cannot be separated from the current leadership. "Because of what leadership, for what reason, state management has succeeded," he said.

Prabowo then wondered, about the inability of the government in which sector in carrying out state duties for its people.

"Are there no shortage in the middle of 280 million people?" asked Prabowo

The General Elections Commission (KPU) is known to have determined three candidate pairs for the presidential and vice-presidential candidates including the serial number for the 2024 presidential election.

The three are candidate pair number 1, Anies Baswedan-Muhaimin Iskandar or AMIN; candidate pair number 2, Ganjar Pranowo-Mahfud MD; and candidate pair number 3, Prabowo Subianto-Gibran Rakabuming Raka.

They have entered the campaign stage and are currently participating in a debate between presidential and vice-presidential candidates facilitated by the KPU. In the mechanism, the inter-presidential debate will be held three occasions, and between vice-presidential candidates twice.

The determination of the debate initiated by the KPU is contained in Article 27 of the General Election Commission Regulation (PKPU) Number 15 of 2023.
