Gibran Ngaku Ready To Face Debate Of Presidential And Vice Presidential Candidates: Already Simulation

Vice Presidential Candidate (Cawapres) number 2 Gibran Rakabuming Raka expressed his readiness to face the inaugural debate of presidential and vice presidential candidates organized by the General Elections Commission (KPU).

"Already, it's been simulated as well," said when asked about his readiness to face the presidential and vice-presidential debate in the Cempaka Putih area, Central Jakarta, Saturday, December 9.

He also admitted that he had made various preparations with Prabowo Subianto.

"Later there will be (simulation with Prabowo)," continued Gibran.

Previously, Gibran also admitted that he was ready if the debate format held by the KPU was like in the 2019 election.

"Yes (ready), I'll just follow (KPU)," said Gibran when asked by reporters, last December 5.

To prepare for his inaugural debate, Gibran said, he had consulted with academics regarding the inaugural debate that would be held in the debate week.

Previously, the General Elections Commission (KPU) had set a debate schedule for all presidential and vice presidential candidates in 2024.

The KPU has scheduled 5 debates. The first debate is scheduled for Tuesday 12 December 2023 with the theme Government, Law, Human Rights, Eradication of Corruption and Strengthening Democracy.

In the 2024 Election debate format, the presidential candidate also accompanied his partner when the vice presidential debate took place, as well as during the presidential candidate debate, the vice presidential candidate accompanied him.

Meanwhile, in the 2019 Election debate format, the composition was one special debate for the vice presidential candidate, two special presidential candidates, and was attended twice by presidential and vice presidential candidates.
