Former Mayor Of Padang Catut Name Rejects SKB 3 Minister, Regent Of Banyumas Protes: Not True, Hoax!

JAKARTA - Banyumas Regent Achmad Husein denied that he rejected the Joint Ministerial Decree (SKB) 3 regarding uniforms and school attributes.

"This news states that the former Mayor of Padang, Pak Fauzi Bahar, said that there was a regional head who rejected the SKB 3 Ministers, including here the Regent of Banyumas. That's not true, it's a hoax," said Achmad Husein as quoted by Antara, Wednesday, February 17.

He said the Banyumas Regent would always obey and would follow any regulations issued by the central government. Thus, he said, the news presented in the online media was hoax.

"I am disappointed, protested. That is wrong," he said while asking the online media journalist to convey the matter to the chief editor.

The Regent said that what he said was not rejecting the Ministerial Decree 3, but when the economy was in trouble, do not impose any levies on parents, especially those whose children attend public schools.

"That includes uniforms too. 'Wong' is school at home (distance learning, ed.) How come you wear a uniform, you don't have to (wear a uniform). Later, when it's face to face, then please wear a uniform," he emphasized.

In fact, he said, for people who cannot afford it, his party will cover the needs of elementary and junior high school uniforms.

"But everything else, I comply with the SKB 3 Ministers, there is no problem. We must obey the central leadership," he said.

In this online media report, it was stated that the Mayor of Padang for the 2004-2014 period, Fauzi Bahar, called on regional heads to dare to reject the SKB 3 Minister regarding the application of dress codes in schools because the SKB eliminates the diversity of local wisdom in Indonesia.

Fauzi appreciated the regional heads of Banyumas, Ciamis and Pariaman who firmly rejected the implementation of the SKB 3 Minister.
