Prabowo-Gibran Starts First Campaign In Surabaya This Weekend

JAKARTA - The head of the Prabowo-Gibran National Campaign Team (TKN), Rosan P Roeslani, said the Prabowo-Gibran pair would conduct their first live campaign in Surabaya which was followed by West Java this weekend.

"Adaweekendini kita akan ke Surabaya, ada di beberapa titik di Surabaya dan juga kita akan ke Jawa Barat. Jadi, Sabtu Minggu, kita akan ke Jawa Barat," kata Rosan di halaman depan kediaman Prabowo di Jalan Kertanegara 4, Jakarta dilansir ANTARA, Rabu, 29 November.

According to Rosan, despite having determined the campaign schedule for this week, TKN together with regional campaign teams and volunteers will discuss the agenda for the overall Prabowo-Gibran campaign schedule on Friday (1/12).

Rosan said the Prabowo-Gibran pair would campaign outside the region on weekends. Prabowo-Gibran is said to be taking time off during the campaign.

"He (Prabowo-Gibran) will focus more on the moment the weekend leaves and also take leave in accordance with existing regulations," said Rosan.

He admitted that during the campaign, Gibran would hear more people's voices than explain ideas.

This is because public complaints are also considered as an important aspect for the purpose of the Prabowo-Gibran pair, namely continuing President Joko Widodo's program.

Rosan said Jokowi's eldest son also had a campaign program in the form of Gibran Hearing.

"So, we will hear more than we tell, 'oh, this is what we want to do'. Therefore, we have also conveyed it in writing, in terms of media. So we listen more to aspirations, inspirations, input from all Indonesian people, as a whole," said Rosan.
