BMKG: Beware Of Lightning Rain And Strong Wind In Jakarta Today

JAKARTA - The Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency (BMKG), Tuesday, predicted that a number of DKI Jakarta areas would be rainy accompanied by lightning and strong winds at night and early morning.

Quoting Antara, Tuesday, February 16, the official website of the BMKG explained that in the morning the areas of West Jakarta, Central Jakarta, East Jakarta, North Jakarta, and the Kepulauan Seribu are predicted to have light rain. Meanwhile, South Jakarta is expected to be cloudy.

Light intensity rain will continue in the West Jakarta and South Jakarta areas during the day. Meanwhile, Central Jakarta, East Jakarta, North Jakarta, and the Kepulauan Seribu are predicted to be cloudy.

The public is asked to be aware of rain accompanied by lightning and strong winds in West Jakarta, Central Jakarta, and North Jakarta at night.

Meanwhile, South Jakarta and East Jakarta will be cloudy. Meanwhile, the Kepulauan Seribu is predicted light rain.

Entering the early hours of Wednesday, February 17, the areas of West Jakarta, Central Jakarta, and North Jakarta are predicted to experience rain accompanied by strong winds and lightning.

It is predicted that the Kepulauan Seribu will have light rain, while the weather in South Jakarta and East Jakarta will be cloudy.

The temperature is estimated to be around 24-31 degrees Celsius, West Jakarta (24-31 degrees), Central Jakarta (25-31 degrees), South Jakarta (24-31 degrees), East Jakarta (24-31 degrees), North Jakarta ( 25-31 degrees) and the Kepulauan Seribu (26-30 degrees).

Meanwhile, the estimated humidity in West Jakarta ranges from 70-90 percent, Central Jakarta 75-90 percent, South Jakarta 65-90 percent, East Jakarta 65-90 percent, North Jakarta 75-90 percent, and the Kepulauan Seribu 80-95 percent.
