Pier And Helipad Facilities Built At The Location Of The KIPI And KIH National Strategic Projects

TANJUNG SELOR - A number of facilities have been built in the Green Industrial Estate or International Port Industrial Estate (KIPI) Tanah Kuning Mangkupa in Tanjung Palas Timur District, Bulungan, North Kalimantan (Kaltara).

Deputy Regent of Bulungan, Ingkong Ala, said the facilities built were the jetty and helipad.

"The results of the field visit to monitor and supervise LKPM (Investment Activities Report) and progress of KIHI continue to increase or there are significant developments," said Inkong Ala, Monday, November 20.

The Pier or Jetty I was built by PT Kalimantan Aluminum Indonesia (KAI) along 850 meters and Jetty II reaching 600 meters. In addition, PT KAI has also built a batching plant or construction tool to produce large amounts of ready mix concrete.

"So that it can support the construction of aluminum smelters ( mineral processing and refining facilities) and power plants (power plants). There is also land clearing (land clearing) covering an area of 461 hectares which will also be built employee housing facilities and other supporting facilities," continued the Deputy Regent.

PT Indonesia Strategis Industri (ISI) is still carrying out the land acquisition process and already has a temporary management building outside KIH.

However, PT ISI encountered several obstacles related to the Approval of the Compliance of Spatial Utilization Activities (PKKPR) from the central government due to the Right to Use Business (HGU) from several plantation companies whose land was included in the area proposed by PT ISI.

"It is recorded that PT ISI has 2,036 hectares of land or 43.4 percent of the PKKPR submission, which is 4,686 hectares," he explained.

Meanwhile, PT Kalimantan Indonesia Industrial Estate (KIKI) proposed 1,605 hectares of PKKPR overlapping with PT ISI, and on the land there is also HGU of a plantation company that has been planted with palm oil.

"Regarding the overlap of KKPR applications between PT KIKI and PT ISI so that they can be resolved at the National Land Agency and related agencies," said the Deputy Regent.

It is stated that in addition to the KPKPR submission, there is still a lot that must be fulfilled by PT KIKI to become the manager of industrial estates. Among other things, obtaining IUKI (Industrial Area Business Permits), having environmental permits, submitting data on industrial estate development, having master plan, owning or controlling land in at least 50 hectares or at least 5 hectares for small and medium industrial areas.

Furthermore, it has the rules of the industrial area, building a management building, and building some of the basic infrastructure within the industrial area and field inspections have been carried out.

Then, PT Taikun Petro Chemical in its progress has built a helipad, speedboat pier and made land clearing locations.

"It is hoped that the licensing process for investors or developers in the national strategic project area (PSN) will run well," he said.
