JAKARTA - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) appreciates the Presidential Secretariat's plan to build a Gratification Museum to store gratification items reported by President Joko Widodo (Jokowi).

Later, this museum will also store 12 gratuity items that Jokowi received from King Salman bin Abdulaziz al-Saud with a value of Rp. 8.7 billion.

He then explained that 12 gratuity items with a value of billions of rupiah had been submitted to the Directorate General of State Assets (DJKN) of the Ministry of Finance on Tuesday, February 9, 2021 at the Presidential Kasetpres Office. Based on Decree Number 1527 of 2020 dated October 27, 2020, the KPK decided that the 12 items were designated as state property.

There are also for security reasons, dozens of these items have never been brought to the KPK's Red and White House, including the process of assessment, clarification, analysis, and the handover process.

Furthermore, to realize the plan for storing these items in the museum, the State Secretariat as the Satker will submit a Use Status Determination (PSP) to the Ministry of Finance for the dozens of items.

"PSP will also be submitted for items that have been reported to the KPK in 2017 by President Jokowi and several other officials from King Salman whose value reaches Rp108 billion," he explained.

The 12 items reported from the gratuities of King Salman are:
