JAKARTA - Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan on Saturday again criticized Israel for its actions in Gaza saying there was "a lot of evidence" to drag the Israeli government to the International Criminal Court (ICC).
"There is a lot of evidence to try the Israeli government at the International Criminal Court. We will do everything we can to ensure this crime is punished accordingly," Erdogan said after returning from a day's visit to Germany, quoted by Antara, Sunday.
Speaking of PM Benjamin Netanyahu, who is increasingly being highlighted by his country for failing to prevent a Hamas attack on October 7, the Turkish leader said: "Netanyahu will be destroyed, we will get rid of it."
"Hopefully, Israel will get rid of him, and all the Jews in the world get rid of him. Currently, 60-70 percent of his citizens oppose Netanyahu," Erdogan said again.
He said Turkey supports the oppressed people in Gaza and will continue to do the same.

"Israel tried to block aid and make Gazans starving and lack of food and water. But, we did not give up," Erdogan said.
"Whatever the obstacle, we will continue to revive Gaza. The whole world, especially Islamic countries, must move to provide assistance."
Israel has continued its air and ground attacks in Gaza since Hamas launched a surprise attack.
The Israeli attack has killed at least 12.000 Palestinians. Meanwhile, the death toll in Israel reached 1.200 people.
Thousands of buildings, including hospitals, mosques and churches, were also damaged or destroyed.
Israel opposes international calls for a ceasefire unless all hostages captured by Hamas are released.
