President Inaugurates The Governor-Deputy Governor Of Kaltara Zainal-Yansen At The Palace

TARAKAN - Today's President Joko Widodo is scheduled to inaugurate Zainal Arifin Paliwang and Yansen as Governor and Deputy Governor of North Kalimantan. The inauguration was held at the State Palace.

In preparation for the inauguration, Zainal-Yansen and his wife and children carried out a Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) swab test at the Jakarta Mother General Hospital (RSU), in Central Jakarta, Sunday, February 14.

Besides, it was also seen that the Chairman of DPRD North Kalimantan Norhayati Andris was present to undergo the PCR test.

This test is carried out according to health protocols in the implementation of the inauguration at the State Palace which must be carried out strictly. Moreover, the inauguration will only be attended by a few representatives who may enter.

"Entering the Palace requires a PCR test, this is so that there is no indication of COVID-19", said Zainal as quoted by Antara.

He and the elected Deputy Governor and his wife and children underwent this swab test according to health protocols to prevent COVID-19. This is also following the rules conveyed by the State Secretariat.

The elected Governor of North Kalimantan said that there were no special preparations ahead of the inauguration that would be carried out by President Joko Widodo. Zainal only maintains physical health conditions so that all processions run smoothly.

"Please pray for the blessing of the people of North Kalimantan so that tomorrow's inauguration will run smoothly and everyone will be given health", he said.
