Men In Makassar Abuse His Wife Using Badik, Beaten Helmet, Shoot Bow

MAKASSAR - The man with the initials Ac (28) was arrested by the police for assaulting his wife In (28) in Mamajang, Makassar. The perpetrator beat him with a Badik knife and shot arrows which are commonly called bows in Makassar.

"Members secure domestic violence perpetrators by using a sharp weapon Badik", said Mamajang Police Chief AKP Ivan Wahyudi, to reporters, Sunday, February 14.

The incident took place at Jalan Kancil Utara, Mamajang District on Thursday, February 4. Husband's persecution of his wife began with an argument.

The police explained that the perpetrator mistreated his wife by pushing her until she fell. The perpetrator stepped on the victim's thigh and slapped her.

"The perpetrator threatened the victim using a sharp weapon in the form of a bow and fired the arrow at the wall of their room", said AKP Ivan.

Badik's perpetrator also injured the victim. The perpetrator also hit his wife with a helmet.

"The perpetrator hit the victim by using a helmet once towards the victim's back until the helmet cracked", he said.

Not accepting the act of mistreatment, the victim's family immediately reported the perpetrator to the police station. The police then arrested the perpetrator.

"A sharp weapon in the form of a bow, a Badik about 20 cm long with a brown wooden handle, complete with a black sarong", said AKP Ivan, citing evidence of the case of husband abuse against his wife.
