JAKARTA The perpetrator and victim of the Manggarai brawl with the initials SR (23) were declared dead, after receiving treatment at the RSCM, Central Jakarta. The brawl took place in the Manggarai area, South Jakarta, last Saturday, October 21.
"(The victim has died. He died, was buried yesterday," said Tebet Police Chief, Kompol Jamalinus Nababan when confirmed, Wednesday, November 8.
Jamalinus said that the victim was thought to have been hit by a large stone. However, he did not know further about the injuries suffered by the victim.
"(The victim) is coming, yes, the perpetrator is as well as the victim. (The wound) what if it gets hit by a big stone," he said.
Regarding the alleged perpetrator of the brawl, said Jamalinus, his party is still conducting an investigation. He admitted that he had a little problem because CCTV was lacking which was so clear on the face of the perpetrator.
"We are still looking for the perpetrator, we are having trouble with CCTV," he said.
Meanwhile, he said that at this time his party was still guarding the area which was a hotspot for brawls.
"We keep on guard, our members stay on standby there, members continue to sweep inside," he concluded.
