MRT Jakarta Is Giving Away Red Envelope By Asking People To Guess A Station Name

JAKARTA - PT MRT Jakarta participated in celebrating Chinese New Year 2572 Kongzil today. Concerning that the COVID-19 pandemic is still going on, MRT Jakarta is holding a station guessing competition with angpao (red envelope) prizes.

Corporate Secretary Division Head PT MRT Jakarta (Perseroda) Ahmad Pratomo said that the info regarding the competition can be followed on Instagram @mrtjkt.

"The 'guess the station, get the angpao' competition was held on MRT Jakarta's Instagram, where MRT Jakarta and LinkAja distributed e-wallet balances worth a total of IDR 1 million", Ahmad said in his statement, Friday, February 12.

On Instagram, MRT posted a photo of a corner of the MRT station. The public can guess which station that is in the photo by giving a comment in the comment section.

This competition period lasts until today. Four lucky people will get LinkAja balances, each of IDR 250 thousand.

Ahmad continued, there are a variety of other attractive promos that can be found at retail and MSMEs located at 13 MRT Jakarta stations.

The promo is a 15 percent discount for all products from Apikmen at Fatmawati Station and a 30 percent discount promo from Broodmet at Lebak Bulus Grab Station.

Ahmad appealed to the public to celebrate Chinese New Year by staying with #JagaJakarta by maximizing activities during Chinese New Year celebrations at home only.

"Various ways that can be done by staying at home, among others, gathering with extended family virtually, giving cakes or gifts

through courier services, and digital angpao distribution to reduce the spread of the COVID-19 virus", said Ahmad.

Meanwhile, people who have to do activities outside the home are advised to always comply with health protocols.
