JAKARTA - First Lady Iriana Jokowi asked for a humanitarian crisis between Israel and Palestine that claimed thousands of lives, especially children, women and civilians were immediately stopped and access to Gaza was opened so that humanitarian aid could be distributed. "I really hope that violence can be stopped, war can be ended, access to humanitarian aid can be opened, and let's help our brothers and sisters in Palestine together," said Iriana Jokowi in her statement, Sunday, November 5. Iriana said she was sad and prayed for casualties in Palestine. "As a woman, as a mother I am very sad to see this situation. I can't imagine the suffering of innocent children who must face this harsh reality," he said. "Children and women are currently many who have lost their lives in Gaza. Most of them are innocent civilians. Life in Gaza is also increasingly difficult. Access to clean water electricity and food is also very limited," he added. Iriana Jokowi invited everyone to live side by side peacefully and avoid hostility. All for the better future of the world. Previously, President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) released Indonesia's assistance to the Palestinian people from Halim Perdanakusuma Airport, Jakarta, Saturday.

A total of 51.5 tons of aid with a value of Rp 24.1 billion in the form of foodstuffs, medical equipment, blankets, tents, and adjusted needs will be sent to Gaza, Palestine through Egypt's El Arish Airport. "This is a form of Indonesian solidarity, a form of Indonesia's concern for humanity because the humanitarian tragedy in Gaza is unacceptable and must be stopped immediately, we hope that more assistance will be made from the community and the business world," said Jokowi.
