Chairman Of Corruption Eradication Commission Asks The Minister Of Health Regarding Vaccination For His Employees

JAKARTA - Chairman of the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK), Firli Bahuri had asked the Minister of Health (Menkes) Budi Gunadi Sadikin regarding the provision of the COVID-19 vaccine to his employees.

This question was raised when the Corruption Eradication Commission leadership held a meeting with Budi Gunadi to discuss the COVID-19 vaccine procurement and administration program.

"Then maybe someone will ask, when will the Corruption Eradication Commission be vaccinated? Well, we discussed this as well", Firli said in a press conference broadcast on the KPK RI YouTube channel, Thursday, February 11.

Answering this question, Budi Gunadi said that currently, the vaccination program is still prioritized for health workers. As for the vaccines for the Corruption Eradication Commission employees, he said, would likely be carried out in the second stage or in conjunction with vaccinations with public service employees.

At this stage, the COVID-19 vaccine that is likely to be used is a vaccine produced by PT Bio Farma. "So the vaccine has been produced in Indonesia. The permit will be completed from the National Agency of Drug and Food Control (BPOM) on Tuesday next week", he said.

Later, after the permit from the National Agency of Drug and Food Control is issued, the vaccination of the Corruption Eradication Commission employees can be carried out. However, the timing of the implementation was returned to Firli as head of the anti-graft commission.

"After leaving next Tuesday, I asked the Chairperson (KPK, red) when he wants to do it. I would like to send it to Jakarta from Bandung. Hopefully, it won't get stuck in traffic", said Budi.

Furthermore, he appreciated the enthusiasm of the Corruption Eradication Commission chairman, Firli Bahuri who was enthusiastic about administering vaccines to his employees. "If the Chairman of the Corruption Eradication Commission is enthusiastic, I am even happier. As soon as possible, whenever you want, please provide a room so that my doctor can give the injection", he said.

"So it is up to you when and where do you want the injection to be held, or we can do it here", he concluded, pointing to the red chair in the Corruption Eradication Commission press room.
