Once There Were 19 Clusters, DKI Deputy Governor Ensured All COVID-19 Cases At The Orphanage Have Recovered

JAKARTA - Deputy Governor of DKI Jakarta Ahmad Riza Patria said that currently, all COVID-19 cases in the scope of orphanages have recovered.

"Indeed, there were clusters in several places, the total for almost a year there were approximately 371 who had been exposed to the coronavirus. Thank God, last month all of them have recovered", said Riza in Jakarta, Thursday, February 11.

Riza said the beginning of the COVID-19 case that was transmitted in the first orphanage was known in June 2020. Then, several people who were cared for in the same orphanage contracted it. Then, the affected person is treated and goes into independent isolation so that they had been recovered.

"Hopefully, everything can be cured. There are children, adults, including our officers who are also exposed, but thank God they can recover", he said.

Previously, it was known that there were 19 orphanages in Jakarta to become a cluster for the spread of COVID-19. As of January 10, the orphanage in DKI still has 93 active cases.

The orphanages that are the cluster for the spread of COVID-19 include the Nurul Hasanah Pesanggrahan Orphanage with 17 cases, the Toddler Home with 10 cases, the Grogol Petamburan Panti Laras with 11 cases, the Panti Laras Harapan Sentosa 3 with 15 cases, and the PSBL HS 2 Home with 138 cases.

Then, the Cahaya Batin 6 cases, the Budi Mulia 2 Cilandak 23 cases, the Margaguna Cilandak 7 cases, 7 cases of the RPTC Center for the Ministry of Social Affairs, and the Kebon Jeruk Social Home for 7 cases.

Next, the Nursing Home with 15 active cases, the Cipayung Nursing Home with 79 cases, the Cipayung Home for 1 active case, the KDW Nursing Home and PKC Ciracas 8 cases, and the PSBL HS 2 Orphanage with 60 active cases.

Furthermore, the PSBL HS Budi Murni 2 Orphanage with 4 active cases, the PSTW BM 1 Orphanage with 1 active case, Budi Mulia 2 PSTW Orphanage with 12 active cases, and the Cipayung TKI Trauma Center Protection Home Orphanage 2 cases.
