In Addition To Preparing 12,600 Vaccinators, National Police Chief Listyo Involves 40,336 Bhabinkamtibmas Personnel As Tracer COVID-19

JAKARTA - National Police Chief, General Listyo Sigit Prabowo, ordered his staff to carry out surveillance and escort vaccine distribution throughout Indonesia.

This effort is a succession of the national vaccination program to fight the corona outbreak which has hit Indonesia for almost a year.

"Currently, Indonesia already has 19.5 million vaccines that have been distributed to the provincial health offices. Therefore, I instruct all levels of the National Police to continue to carry out escort, security, both during distribution and when the vaccine is given to the public," said the National Police Chief. Listyo while leading the rally and the release of tracer and vaccinator personnel at Polda Metro Jaya, on Thursday, February 11.

The Police, Listyo emphasized, have alerted thousands of health personnel to participate in the vaccinator program or personnel who help administer vaccines.

A total of 900 of them have been specially trained so that they immediately deployed to the field.

"And 12,600 other personnel in the near future will be given similar training,"

"The National Police has also prepared 40,336 Babinkamtibnas personnel in all regions to act as tracers as an early detection step in anticipating the spread of the corona virus," said National Police Chief Listyo.
