JAKARTA - Chairman of the PDIP DPP for Ideology and Cadreization Djarot Saiful Hidayat compared the attitude of his cadres, namely Ganjar Pranowo and Gibran Rakabuming. He said, the former Governor of Central Java (Central Java) was an example of the success of regeneration.

This was conveyed by Djarot in response to the advancement of the Mayor of Solo as well as the son of President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) as a vice presidential candidate (cawapres) accompanying Prabowo Subianto. In fact, PDIP carries Ganjar Pranowo-Mahfud MD in the 2024 Presidential Election (Pilpres).

Djarot felt a thorn when he saw the political steps taken by Gibran. He said he failed to educate the president's son.

"I am guilty, because I am the Head of Ideology and Cadreization, my job is to build ideology, build regeneration, prepare regeneration through party schools," said Djarot.

According to him, what has been instilled in party schools seems useless. Moreover, there is an impression that Gibran is advancing for the ambition of power alone.

"It turns out that all the values we instill in party schools, yes, who is like that just for the sake of power," he said.

Previously reported, Gibran registered with Prabowo to the KPU supported by the Advanced Indonesia Coalition, which consisted of nine parties including the Gerindra Party, the Golkar Party, the National Mandate Party (PAN), and a number of other parties including the Indonesian Solidarity Party (PSI).
