PKS Welcomes Susi Pudjiastuti And Gatot Nurmantyo If Joining The AMIN National Team

JAKARTA - The Prosperous Justice Party (PKS) welcomes a number of figures who are rumored to be joining the national team to win the Anies Baswedan-Muhaimin Iskandar pair or the AMIN pair.

Among them, former Minister of Maritime Affairs and Fisheries Susi Pudjiastuti, former TNI Commander Gatot Nurmantyo, and former Head of PP Muhammadiyah Din Syamsudin.

PKS Secretary General Aboe Bakar Alhabsyi said the AMIN national team would be filled with many figures. There are only 30 national campaign teams (TKN). Not to mention the BAJA team formed by candidate pairs and volunteers.

Aboe also considered it good that Susi and Gatot could join the AMIN national team. Even with Gatot Nurmantyo.

"If he (Susi, ed) wants to enter well," Aboe told reporters, Saturday, October 28.

"Good, (Gatot) go ahead if you want to join. We are happy that anyone who joins us will join us. We will open the door as well as possible," he continued.

According to Aboe, the AMIN national team does need a lot of support from strong people to deal with incumbents. It is known, he is another candidate, namely Ganjar Pranowo-Mahfud MD, supported by the election winning party. Meanwhile, Prabowo Subianto-Gibran Rakabuming is said to have the support of President Joko Widodo.

"We are the ones who will fight incumbent. So surely the name incumbent has great strength, all systems and potentials. But we believe the voices of the people of conscience will come," said Aboe.

Aboe said that in the near future the structure of the AMIN national team will be announced. Currently, he said, it is being finalized by the three supporting political parties.

"In the near future, it can't be long. The longer it is, the longer it will be with them," he concluded.
