Adian Napitupulu Affirms Jokowi's Child's Gibran Status In Megawati's Hands

JAKARTA - Deputy Chairperson of the PDIP Presidential Election Winning Volunteer Coordination Team (TKRPP) Adian Napitupulu reluctant to think about the status of Gibran Rakabuming Raka after registering as a vice presidential candidate (cawapres) Prabowo Subianto. This matter is said to be resolved by the party's central leadership council.

"The status of Gibran's son, Jokowi. Regarding their status, they were handed over to the DPP and the General Chair of the PDI-P. My job is to raise votes, to gather strength to win Ganjar," said Adian in a written statement, Wednesday, October 25.

Adian doesn't care if Jokowi and his family turn their backs on PDIP. Currently, PDIP is only focused on winning Ganjar Pranowo and Mahfud MD who are promoted by the PDI Perjuangan, PPP, Hanura Party, and Perindo Party in the upcoming 2024 presidential election.

"How can I not think about Gibran. How can I not think about Jokowi. What I think about is how to add one, one, one votes every day to Ganjar," he said.

Adian spoke about changes in the attitude of Jokowi and his family. He said this problem began because the discourse on extending the presidential term was rejected by his party.

This rejection was caused by his party because he did not want to betray the constitution. This is because this problem is related to the safety of the nation and state as well as the people of Indonesia.

Then there are those who are angry, it's up to them. What is clear is that we survive to protect the constitution. Maintaining the constitution is to protect this republic. Maintaining the constitution is to protect our nation and people," he said.

"If someone is angry because we reject the addition of a three-term term or extension, not because of anything, that's their own business. But indeed to maintain the constitution. It's simple," concluded Adian.
