WFH ASN DKI 50 Percent 2 Months Only Reduces 0.63 Percent Of Congestion

JAKARTA - The DKI Jakarta Transportation Agency (Dishub) analyzed the comparison of traffic performance that occurred during the implementation of the DKI ASN work from home (WFH) policy with the previous one.

The WFH 50 percent policy of DKI ASN which aims to reduce air pollution and congestion in Jakarta lasts for 2 months, from August 21 to October 21.

Head of the DKI Jakarta Transportation Agency, Syafrin Lputo, said that the level of congestion in Jakarta during the WFH implementation only fell 0.63 percent or decreased by 42,846 vehicles.

"The average volume of traffic during the implementation of WFH ASN DKI Jakarta Provincial Government is 6,800,992 vehicles per day or a decrease of 0.63 percent compared to the period before the implementation of WFH with an average traffic volume of 6,843,838 vehicles per day," Syafrin told reporters, Tuesday, October 24.

Meanwhile, the level of congestion during rush hour in the morning at 06.00-10.00 WIB fell 1.48 percent compared to before the implementation of WFH 50 percent.

The rate of congestion in the afternoon at 16.00-20.00 during the implementation of WFH ASN, the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government decreased by 0.46 percent compared to before the WFH implementation.

The WFH policy for ASN DKI Provincial Government is carried out in order to reduce the level of air pollution and congestion during the 43rd ASEAN Summit (KTT).

The DKI Provincial Government has implemented a maximum WFH policy of 50 percent from August 21 to October 21, 2023, to ASN who do not work in the field of direct service to the community.

The number of ASN DKI Jakarta Provincial Government that can be applied to the WFH work mechanism is ASN with regular working hours of 23,343 people.

Especially during the ASEAN Summit, the composition of WFH ASN was increased to 75 percent from September 4 to September 7, 2013.

During WFH, ASN is required to report attendance or attendance on the pages provided every morning and evening. The mechanism for this attendance report also requires ASN to turn on the cameras and locations on their respective devices to be recorded by the system.
