PDIP Solo Chairman FX Rudy Waits For Gibran To Return KTA

Surakarta City PDIP Branch Leadership Council (DPC) is waiting for Gibran Rakabuming Raka to return the membership card (KTA) he made when he first became a party cadre bearing the white-nosed bull symbol.

"(Until now, red) there has been no return of KTA," said Surakarta City PDIP DPC Chairman FX Hadi Rudyatmo as reported by ANTARA, Tuesday, October 24.

According to him, related to political contestation, every citizen has the right to be nominated and nominated and entitled to be elected and elected as long as he meets the age requirements.

"Mas Gibran is nominated by another party, that's Mas Gibran's right, the decision is in Mas Gibran's hands. If you have decided to join another party, Mas Gibran will automatically return the PDIP member card to the DPC, because yesterday he asked the DPC on September 9, 2019," he said.

FX Rudy said there had been no return and there had been no communication between the Surakarta City PDIP DPC and Gibran after the announcement of the presidential and vice presidential candidates from the Prabowo Subianto camp.

At the announcement, it was decided that Prabowo would cooperate with Gibran to run for the 2024 Presidential Election.

"There is no communication at all," he said, adding that in registration the first time the submission started from a branch and then went up to the DPC.

"Then register as a member of the PDIP. Now, if you have become a member of another party, you should automatically not be a member of the PDIP and should return the KTA," he emphasized.

Including the resignation letter, he said, has not yet been submitted to the PDIP DPC of Surakarta City. However, he said, until now there is no certainty whether Gibran is really going to run for vice president or not.

"The candidate is registered with the KPU. This is not a final decision to the KPU," he said.
