Bodong Investment Case, NTB Police Receive 13 Victim Complaint Reports

The Director of Special Criminal Investigation of the West Nusa Tenggara Regional Police (Polda NTB) Police Commissioner Nasrun Pasaribu confirmed that there was no suspect in the alleged fraudulent investment fraud case of Future E-Commerce (FEC). "There are no suspects yet," said Kombes Nasrun, quoted by ANTARA, Thursday, October 19. He revealed that the case of FEC's fraudulent investment has now entered the investigation stage under the handling of Sub-Directorate II of Banking Criminal Investigation Division of the NTB Police. "Yes, the case has been fingerprinted," he said. Previously, the NTB Police took over the handling of the complaint report from victims of the Future E-Commerce (FEC) fraudulent investment previously at the Central Lombok Resort Police. "So, the handling of the complaint report at the Central Lombok Police has been taken over by the NTB Police," said Head of Public Relations of the NTB Polda Kombes Pol. Arman Asmara Syarifuddin in Mataram, Friday. He said the complaint report taken over by the NTB Police from the Central Lombok Police came from three victims. With this takeover, he said, the NTB Police are now handling 13 reports of complaints of FEC victims. In further handling, investigators did not rule out the possibility of involving institutions that are experts in the banking sector, such as the Financial Transaction Reports and Analysis Center (PPATK) and the Financial Services Authority (OJK). The police also asked for information from criminal experts to see legal relations in complaint reports leading to allegations of fraud and embezzlement.
