JAKARTA - Satpol PP DKI sealed the place of business of New SGH Karaoke and Resto in Komplek Mutiara Taman Palem Blok A. 17 No. 23, East Cengkareng Village, Cengkareng District, West Jakarta Administrative City.

Head of Satpol PP DKI Arifin said that this karaoke place violated three rules at once. First, they violated the rules for nightclubs which were still prohibited from operating during the PSBB period.

Second, the place does not have a business license according to the applicable regulations. Third, showing uncooperation with the government in the process of monitoring compliance with the COVID-19 prevention health protocol.

Thus, in accordance with the Recommendation Letter for the Closure of Business Places from the DKI Jakarta Tourism and Creative Economy Agency 166 / -1858.2, Satpol PP permanently closes New SGH Karaoke and Resto.

"The closure of the business premises is also carried out as an effort to minimize other business places that violate regional regulations and / or regional regulations in the DKI Jakarta Province," said Arifin in his statement, Wednesday, February 10.

Syafrin reminded all business actors to remain disciplined in carrying out regulations during the COVID-19 pandemic.

"We must jointly fight the COVID-19 virus with discipline in order to reduce the spread of the case. If there are still business actors who violate this, we will continue to discipline this closure or sealing," he said.

For information, since the April PSBB until now, the Jakarta Satpol PP has temporarily closed 2,404 business / work / public places. Then, there are 551 places of business that are subject to fines with a total value of Rp. 2,115,650,000.
