PDIP Coalition Declaration Of Ganjar-Mahfud, PAN Ensures KIM Immediately Decides On Prabowo's Vice Presidential Candidate

Secretary General of the National Mandate Party (PAN) Eddy Soeparno, said the appointment of Coordinating Minister for Political, Legal and Security Affairs Mahfud MD as vice presidential candidate to accompany Ganjar Pranowo was increasingly reducing the 2024 presidential election.

This is because the two presidential candidates, namely the PDIP presidential reading Ganjar Pranowo and the Presidential Decree of the Anies Baswedan Amendment Coalition, have determined their partner completely.

"God willing, we from the Pak Prabowo coalition and the Advanced Indonesia Coalition (KIM) will also determine our vice presidential candidate in the near future," said Eddy to reporters, Wednesday, October 18.

It is known that currently there are two pairs of presidential and vice presidential candidates who are ready to register with the Indonesian KPU. Namely the pair Ganjar Pranowo-Mahfud MD and the pair Anies Baswedan-Muhaimin Iskandar or what is called the Amin couple.

Meanwhile, the presidential candidate for the Indonesian Coalition Maju Prabowo Subianto has not yet determined the vice presidential candidate. So far, the name of the new vice president has narrowed to four names.

However, Eddy ensured that Prabowo's vice presidential candidate name would be decided soon.

"As well as registering presidential and vice-presidential candidates at the predetermined time as scheduled by the KPU," he said.

PAN did not forget to congratulate Mahfud MD, who has been officially appointed as a vice presidential candidate to accompany Ganjar Pranowo to compete in the 2024 presidential election.

"I know Mr. Mahfud, my senior at HMI, intellectual, has integrity, his life is simple," said Deputy PAN Viva Yoga Mauladi, Wednesday, October 18. "Hopefully Mr. Mahfud can color this presidential election with a complaint about ideas and thoughts about the progress of the nation and state, the election that educates because of people's political education," he added.
