Reading The 'Intimate' Meeting Of Pigai And Widow's Ashes At The Dining Table, End Of The KNPI Report?

JAKARTA - The National Police Headquarters finally examined social media activist Permadi Arya alias Abu Janda after being reported by the Indonesian National Youth Committee (KNPI). The report questioned Abu Janda's tweet on the blue bird app, twitter, which was accused of being racist to Natalius Pigai.

After being questioned on Thursday, February 4, Abu Janda said he wanted to meet the activist and figure in Papua. "Indeed, I have not had any communication, I may also want to (meet Pigai)," said Abu Janda at the Police Criminal Investigation Unit.

Tit for tat, Abu Janda's wish was finally fulfilled. On Monday, February 8, yesterday, Abu Janda and Pigai met at the Fairmont Hotel. The portraits of their 'intimacy' were also widespread on social media networks, sparking reactions from netizens.

A figure of concern is Sufmi Dasco Ahmad. The Gerindra politician, who had just been appointed as Daily Chair by Prabowo Subianto, last Saturday, February 6, became the initiator of the Pigai and Abu Janda meeting.

In his official Instagram caption, @sufmi_dasco, he wrote, "Strengthen ourselves to build the country with Natalias Pigai and Abu Janda," wrote Dasco as quoted by VOI, Monday, February 8 yesterday.

Former Democrat Ferdinand Hutahaean did not want to miss the moment to comment on Pigai and Abu Janda's meeting. In his tweet, @ FerdinandHahean3, Ferdinand hoped that the meeting of the two children of this nation would be the beginning of the withdrawal of the report at the Police.

"Hopefully, with this all legal proceedings and reporting on what happens will end with withdrawing the case," tweeted Ferdinand.

In line with Ferdinand, Natalius Pigai also commented after the meeting took place. He said, 'Is evolution done yet?' is a question. Even though it is racist in tone, a question has no legal offense.

"It was he (Abu Janda) who asked to meet. I am a very rational leader and intellectual and I cannot refuse to accept it. Moreover, I am not a reporter," tweeted Pigai, @ NataliusPigai2.

The social media activist Permadi Arya alias Abu Janda was previously reported by the Indonesian National Police to the Criminal Investigation Unit of the National Police for alleged hate speech against Papuan activists Natalius Pigai.

"We have received our report, thank God, cooperatively from the police. We have attached the evidence as well," said Head of the KNPI DPP Legal Division, Medya Rischa Lubis, to reporters at Bareskrim Polri, Thursday, January 28.

"That today we have reported the twitter account @ permadiaktivis1 which is allegedly owned by the brother of Permadi Arya alias Abu Janda," he continued.

The alleged hate speech, said Medya, was because Abu Janda's Twitter tweet used words that were deemed insulting on January 2. In the tweet there is a sentence alluding to evolution.

"The words evolution is the bottom line for us to report the @permadiaktivis account for allegedly spreading hate speech," he said.

Medya emphasized that the word evolution was considered an insult to Natalius Pigai's physicality. So it was decided to report Abu Janda. The report is registered with the number LP / B / 0052 / I / Bareskrim dated January 28, 2021.
