JAKARTA - Political Indicator researcher, Bawono Kumoro reminded that football fans are the "Biggest Party" in Indonesia. It is not surprising that Erick Thohir is the vice presidential candidate with the highest electability in East Java or nationally.

Bawono explained, Erick Thohir's electability has been high since becoming chairman of PSSI. Especially since being led by Erick Thohi, many achievements have been produced by PSSI.

"The champion at the SEA Games, can bring in Agentina, the U23 National Team to enter the Asian Cup final, and various other breakthroughs. Finally, he can host the U17 World Cup," said Bawono, Saturday, October 7.

With these positive notes, continued Bawono, the public appreciates the ministers who are actively cleaning up the bumn. The appreciation is in the form of support for Erick Thohir in the 2024 presidential election.

"His name became popular, was liked a lot and was finally appreciated in the form of support to be selected as a vice presidential candidate," he explained.

Erick Thohir's high electability, of course, comes from support from East Java. The high vote in East Java is also because Erick Thohir has an investment there. Among them are the chairman of the Nahdlatul Ulama Anniversary (NU) committee, a member of the NU Banser Honorary Council.

And the factors that are no less important, football enthusiasts, according to Bawono, are the biggest parties in Indonesia. And in East Java there are many football clubs with very many fanatical supporters. There are Arema, Persebaya, Madura United, Persela, and so on.
