Police Add 64 Witnesses Examined For Fires At The Indonesian National Museum

JAKARTA - Central Jakarta Metro Police Satreskrim investigators added the number of witnesses related to the fire at the Indonesian National Museum. Currently, the total number of witness examinations has reached tens of people.

"A total of 64 witnesses have been examined. We have clarified 64 witnesses asking for information related to the fire," said Central Jakarta Metro Police Chief Kombes Komarudin to VOI, Thursday, September 28.

The addition of a number of witnesses was to provide clear information from various aspects related to fires at the National Museum of Indonesia.

"This effort is one of our steps to find out the cause of the fire. Apart from the efforts currently being made by the laboratory," he said.

Previously, it was reported that nearly two weeks the fire case at the Indonesian National Museum had passed, but the Central Jakarta Metro Police had not concluded the exact cause of the fire in Building A which scorched as many as 6 rooms where historical objects were collected.

"Not yet, indications of burning or burning or corslet or the cause of the burning of the museum are still being investigated," said Central Jakarta Metro Police Chief Kombes Komarudin to VOI, Thursday, September 28.

The investigation process continues to be carried out by the Central Jakarta Metro Police Satreskrim. Investigators are also still waiting for the results of laboratory tests from Puslabfor.
