JAKARTA - The Government of Garut district, West Java implements a tour package program, namely making visits to several tourist destinations in one area so that they can boost tourist visits that provide comfort and impressions.

He said that the tourist destinations that became the tour packages were the Kamojang area in Samarang District and Darajat in Pasirwangi District.

The area, he said, has many attractive tourist destinations, namely mountain views, lodging, and hot-spring tours.

"There are a lot of tour packages (from Samarang Subdistrict) to Darajat", he said.

He mentioned tour packages in other areas, namely beach tourism such as Santolo Beach in Cikelet District, Sayang Heulang in Pameungpeuk District, and a number of other beach tours that have their own charm.

Furthermore, he said, there is Situ Cangkuang tour in Leles District which is a package with other tourist objects such as Cipanas Garut in Tarogong Kaler District, Mount Guntur, and Papandayan.

"Situ Cangkuang is included in the package with Cipanas, Papandayan, Mount Guntur, and Sukaregang shopping tours", he said.

Deputy Regent of Garut, Helmi Budiman, stated that the Garut District Government has planned tourism development, one of which is a tour package for the central area of Garut district, namely Samarang and Pasirwangi Districts.

He mentioned that the Samarang area has several natural tourist destinations, such as in Kamojang there is an eagle conservation center, Situ Cibeureum, and there are lodging places close to tourist attractions.

"There is the Pasirwangi route, and the Samarang route has Kamojang Fillage, there is Cibereum, so it becomes one package", said Helmi.
