LHOKSEUMAWE - Public Prosecutor (JPU) of the Lhokseumawe District Attorney's Office has transferred case files and suspects for alleged corruption in the financial abuse of PT Arun Lhokseumawe Hospital with state losses reaching Rp44.9 billion to the Banda Aceh Corruption Court. Head of the Intelligence Section of the Lhokseumawe Kejari, Therry Gutama, said that there were two suspects in the case. The state losses that have been successfully returned in this case amounted to Rp10.6 billion. "The two cases were transferred by the Public Prosecutor to the Banda Aceh Corruption Court through an electronic transfer process," said Therry when contacted from Banda Aceh, Antara, Wednesday, September 20. Two suspects, namely former Lhokseumawe Mayor Suaidi Yahya and former President Director of PT RS Arun Hariadi. Both are suspected of abusing their authority and finances in the management of PT Arun Lhokseumawe Hospital from 2016-2022. Therry said that the application for the transfer of files was submitted on Tuesday and was declared complete and received by officers from the Banda Aceh Corruption Court. "Furthermore, the Public Prosecutor will wait for the determination of the trial schedule to be issued by the Banda Aceh Corruption Court to carry out the process of proving the case before the trial," he said. Sebelumnya diberitakan, Kejari Lhokseumawe menetapkan dua tersangka utama dalam kasus dugaan korupsi PT RS Arun Lhokseumawe dengan kerugian negara ditaksir mencapai Rp44,9 miliar. The two suspects are former President Director of PT RS Arun Lhokseumawe Hariadi who is currently detained in Lhoksukon Class II B Prison, and former Lhokseumawe Mayor Suaidi Yahya is being held at the Lhokseumawe Class II A Prison with the status of prosecutor detention.

"“Until now, the Lhokseumawe Kejari has succeeded in recovering state losses in this case amounting to Rp10.6 billion," he said.
