JAKARTA - President Joko Widodo invites leaders of MIKTA member countries (Mexico, Indonesia, South Korea, Turkey and Australia) to collaborate with each other to face global challenges.

In the meeting of the consolidative forum between the five countries, namely Mexico, Indonesia, South Korea, Turkey and Australia (MIKTA), President Jokowi emphasized that the global challenges that are very complicated at this time must be faced with collaboration and cooperation between countries.
Therefore, the President said that all countries must be part of the solution to global challenges including MIKTA member countries.
According to the President, MIKTA must ensure the fulfillment of development rights for all countries, including the global social area, to downstream the industry and become part of the global supply chain.
President Jokowi stressed that the MIKTA state must also continue to support an inclusive economic recovery through digital transformation as has been done by ASEAN.
"Currently, ASEAN already has a Digital Economic Framework Agreement that can double the digital economy to two trillion US dollars by 2030," he said.
