JAKARTA - PT Asabri (Persero) said that it has distributed pension funds of IDR 15 trillion to around 439 thousand retirees, at the beginning of each month throughout 2020.

Asabri also made payments for Old Age Benefits (THT), Work Accident Benefits (JKK), and Death Benefits (JKM) of IDR 1.6 trillion to around 58,000 participants who submitted claims in 2020 ,.

"Monthly pension payments and insurance claims are carried out in the right person, in the right amount, on time and with the best service supported by 14 partners spread throughout Indonesia," said President Director Asabri Wahyu Suparyono quoted from Antara, Wednesday, February 3.

According to Wahyu, as the bearer of the government's mandate in providing social insurance services and special pension payments for members of the TNI / Polri, ASN Kemenhan and Polri, Asabri ensures that its services and operations continue to run normally and smoothly.

"Participants' rights are a top priority for us. Hard work in 2020 is a manifestation and commitment of Asabri to improve the welfare of participants through the development of technology-based service systems and increasing social insurance benefits, supported by the development of human resources with integrity and character as well as investment management. right, "he said.

In early February 2021, Wahyu said, Asabri provided Special Death Risk Compensation (SRKK) insurance benefits to the heirs of 2 participants who died as a result of a firefight with KKB in Papua, namely Posthumous Dedi Hamdani and Posthumous Roy Febrianto by granting total insurance benefit rights of IDR 900 million.

SRKK Fall is given to the heirs of participants who died while carrying out military operations for war or non-war military operations, either inside or outside the country as a result of the direct action of the opponent / enemy / offenders of the law, or due to weather, the field of operation / natural factors in accordance with PP 54 of 2020 amendments to PP 102 of 2015.

Asabri Mobile

To improve service and convenience for participants, the company launched the Android-based Asabri Mobile application in June 2020. Apart from being able to find out the size of the premium that has been paid and the value of its development as well as some other information, participants can also update their personal data using the Asabri Mobile.

Until the end of 2020 the number of participants who downloaded the Asabri Mobile application reached 27,000 users, and will continue to be developed and encourage participants to continue to use it.

In addition, to facilitate claim submission, Asabri has launched the Asabri Link (Office Channeling) program which has been active in 448 service points spread across 161 cities. With this program, the process of submitting claim documents is faster because participants can submit them at the service point.

In the area of developing additional benefits for participants, in 2020, Asabri has collaborated with PT Taspen Life, an insurance company owned by PT Taspen (Persero).

Regarding the problems being faced by several former Asabri officials, Wahyu Suparyono said that his party completely left it to law enforcement and respected the legal process that was currently underway at the Attorney General's Office.

Meanwhile, President Commissioner Asabri Fary Djemy Francis said that the focus of the directors and commissioners is currently making improvements, especially with regard to the welfare of Asabri participants in accordance with the applicable laws and mechanisms, as well as strengthening the internal audit unit.
