JAKARTA - Spokesperson for the Palangka Raya COVID-19 Handling Task Force Supriyanto said that currently there are 15 urban villages that are categorized as the red zone for the spread of COVID-19.

"The areas that fall into the red zone have decreased. Currently, of the 30 urban villages there are 15 which are categorized as the red zone for the spread of COVID-19 after one sub-district is declared no longer a red zone," said Supriyanto in Palangka Raya, reported by Antara, Monday, February 1.

Meanwhile, nine other urban villages in the capital city of Central Kalimantan are in the yellow zone category and the remaining six urban villages are in the green zone category.

"The 15 sub-districts in the red zone consist of five sub-districts in Pahandut District, four urban villages in Jekan Raya District, three sub-districts in Sabangau District and three sub-districts in Bukit Batu District," he said.

Then the nine urban villages in the yellow zone consist of one sub-district in Pahandut District, two sub-districts in Sabangau District, three villages in Bukit Batu District and three sub-districts in Rakumpit District.

Meanwhile, the six urban villages that are included in the green zone consist of one sub-district in Sabangau District, one village in Bukit Batu District and four villages in Rakumpit District.
