Earthquake Bolaang Mongondow North Sulawesi, Magnitude 6.0

JAKARTA - The Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) reported that an earthquake with a magnitude of 6.0 rocked the Southeast region of Tutuyan, East Bolaang Mongondow Regency, North Sulawesi.

BMKG noted that the earthquake was centered at sea, precisely at coordinates 0.21 south latitude and 125.03 east longitude or 117 km southeast of Tutuyan with a depth of 10 km.

The North Sulawesi earthquake was reported to have occurred at 18.58 WIB, Friday, August 4. BMKG said the earthquake had no potential for a tsunami.
