Accelerating Process For Vaccination, TNI Commander Deploys 9,176 Vaccinators

JAKARTA - TNI Commander Marshal Hadi Tjahjanto said that his party is ready to support the national vaccination program. The TNI has even prepared 9,176 personnel from medical units to become vaccinators.

"The TNI has prepared 9,176 vaccinators from the TNI," said Hadi in the webinar on 'Covid-19 Vaccines for Indonesia Rise', Saturday, January 30.

Of course, thousands of personnel are people who have abilities in the world of health. In addition, as many as 345 representatives from thousands of personnel have participated in the training of trainer (ToT) process of vaccination for COVID-19 face-to-face.

In fact, to make the vaccination process a success, around 164 TNI officers, career soldiers specifically for health personnel, have been appointed this week. They will be deployed directly according to their respective expertise.

"With this (personnel) strength (it is hoped) it will accelerate the achievement of government targets in the national vaccination program," said Hadi.

Furthermore, Hadi said that as many as 91,817 TNI personnel were deployed to guard and supervise the public to implement health protocols. They are spread throughout Indonesia to participate in trying to reduce the spread of COVID-19.

"The operation to enforce the discipline of health services in 34 provinces throughout Indonesia, the TNI has deployed 91,817 personnel," he said.
