Starting July, BI OJK LPS Can Access Data Of All National Banks

JAKARTA - Three institutions that are members of the Financial System Stability Committee (KSSK), namely the Financial Services Authority (OJK), Bank Indonesia (BI), and the Deposit Insurance Corporation (LPS) have agreed with banking businesses to implement integrated reporting (BI-ANTASENA). ) starting July 2021.

Deputy Governor of BI Sugeng said that banks have an important role in supporting the formulation of authority policies.

"For this reason, banks must immediately complete internal preparations to ensure that the submission of banking data can be fully implemented in the coming July," he said in an official statement Friday, January 29.

Likewise, OJK Deputy Chairman Nurhaida said that this strategic step was in line with the information technology-based supervision strengthening program.

"This also means that OJK can improve effectiveness and efficiency in the aspects of regulation, reporting, licensing, and supervision," he said.

Meanwhile, LPS Chief Executive Lana Soelistianingsih revealed that the provision of comprehensive bank data and information is very important in carrying out the function of guaranteeing deposits and bank resolution.

"Data and information from integrated reporting are also very much needed by financial authorities in conducting assessments and making policies to maintain the stability of the national financial system," he said.

This reporting integrity plan was agreed upon at the BI-OJK-LPS Joint Communication High-Level Meeting (HLM) with banking industry leaders virtually on Friday, January 29.

The integration of reporting itself is expected to provide support for the availability of complete, accurate, current and complete data (LAKU).

LAKU data plays an important role in formulating targeted and comprehensive policies in order to navigate potential and existing risks.
