Create New Access, South Tangerang City Government Unloads Lengkong Elementary Wall

TANGERANG - The City Government (Pemkot) of South Tangerang finally demolished the wall at SD Lengkong Karya, Serpong, South Tangerang. However, the wall that was demolished on other land was used as new access.

Head of the South Tangerang Education and Culture Office (Tangsel) Deden Deni said the demolition of the wall was for new road access. This happened because his party did not find a bright spot to buy Hardi Wijaya's land which had blocked the main gate of Lengkong Karya Elementary School.

"Alhamdulillah, today we can dismantle it, because last week it was still closed, we need discussions with the land owner," Deden told reporters, Friday, July 21.

"We move access or entrance to SD Lengkong Karya to the side. Why don't we dismantle the walls, because those who own the land don't give us the land to buy," he continued.

Furthermore, his party is looking for a solution by agreeing to buy another land which is also close to SD Lengkong, which belongs to Supriadi. However, the agreement was only limited to black and white.

"Only the black and white agreement, because the APBD (Regional Revenue and Expenditure Budget) mechanism is pure and changes," he concluded.

Previously, it was reported that the Mayor of South Tangerang (Tangsel) Benyamin Davnie revealed the reason why the land that was concreted by the land owner covered access to SD Lengkong Raya, North Serpong did not find a common ground. The reason is because the land owner's request to buy the land is 1500 meters wide.

"The extent of the problem, they asked to buy 1500 meters, yes it can't be 1500 meters. We only need 70 meters later as a BPK (Financial Audit Agency) finding," said Benjamin in South Tangerang, Thursday, July 20.

In addition, regarding prices, the land owner puts a price that is considered quite high. Therefore, the South Tangerang City Government chose to buy other land.

"Then about the price at that time, it was just a tug of war, finally it was agreed that the APraisel time was independent and then I had not budgeted for it in the revised APBD, because it had not been dealt yet," he said.

Furthermore, Benjamin said that his party would buy 70 meters of land to two land owners, which is located different from before.

There are two. One each 30 meters, one 40 meters. So indeed we need 70 meters of land from here that crosses this road. Later the wall doesn't have to be demolished because we will move the entrance," he concluded.
