MAKASSAR - Chairman of the Regional Representative Council (DPRD) of Makassar City, South Sulawesi (Sulsel) Rusianto Lallo responded to the attitude of Acting Mayor of Makassar Rudy Djamaluddin who seemed to close communication with the mayor and deputy mayor of Makassar City was elected M Ramdhan Pomanto (Danny Pomanto) -Fatmawati Rusdi.

Lallo, who is also a NasDem politician, highlighted the absence of Prof. Rudy during the appointment of the mayor and vice mayor of Makassar to be elected Danny Pomanto-Fatmawati.

Lallo alluded to the duties of the Acting Mayor of Makassar in the Decree of the appointment of Prof. Rudy Djamaluddin as Acting Mayor by the Ministry of Home Affairs to make the implementation of the 2020 Makassar Pilkada successful.

"The Acting Mayor should understand and know the matter, so ideally the Acting Mayor of Makassar should succeed in all stages of the regional elections including being present in the ratification of the elected Mayor and Deputy Mayor in the DPRD plenary session," said Lallo, Thursday, January 28.

"Regarding the transition team, it should be able to understand the intention of the elected mayor to form the transition team as an effort or a way to make the transfer of power in this case the elected mayor run well and be successful," he continued.

Lallo suggested that Prof. Rudy welcome Danny Pomanto through communication ahead of the inauguration of the mayor and deputy mayor of Makassar.

"Finally, the Acting Mayor must interpret the wishes of the Governor as his direct superior, namely how to create reconciliation. Now this must start from the efforts or initiation of the Acting Mayor of Makassar himself, not acting or uttering sentences that seem to contradict the statement. the governor who wants a reconciliation, "he continued.

Previously reported, the Acting Mayor of Makassar Rudy Djamaluddin was reluctant to meet the transition team formed by the mayor of Makassar elected M Ramdhan Pomanto or Danny Pomanto.

Prof. Rudy, his greeting, said that the meeting with the transition team was not important. Currently, he only focuses on working ahead of his term of office as acting Makassar City which is about to end.

"For me, there is no urgency because this has already been determined what my obligations will be," Rudy Djamaluddin told reporters.

The elected mayor / deputy mayor Danny Pomanto-Fatmawati Rusdi has indeed formed a transition team.

Danny Pomanto's transition team formulated concrete steps in accordance with the vision-mission and strategic program with Fatmawati Rusdi. The transition team is also intended to evaluate a number of policies of the Acting Mayor of Makassar, Rudy Djamaluddin.

The transition team involved several experienced figures including the former Acting Mayor of Makassar, Prof. Yusran Yusuf. Professor of State Administration at Hasanuddin University (Unhas) Prof. Aminuddin Ilmar, figures from the publicity coalition Ustadz Iqbal Djalil, and spatial planning expert Naidah Naing.

Prof. Rudy responded to the transition team by emphasizing that all government agendas were contained in the activity plan in the form of the 2021 APBD and that had been stated. The elected mayor has the authority to make changes in the regional budget.

"So we are no longer in the realm of wanting to make what we want to do, it already exists, in the APBD, and it has been legalized.
