Former Village Head And Active Employee Of Tangerang Village Apparatus, Arrested After Counterfeiting Undisputed Letter Signatures

TANGERANG A former village head (Kades) Rawa Boni initials AM, and one active employee of Rawa Boni Village, Paku Haji, Tangerang Regency, the initials AS were arrested by members of the Tangerang Metro Police for alleged cases of forgery of signatures and stamps on letters of participation in the sale and non-dispute letters.

Tangerang Metro Police Chief Kombes Zain Dwi Nugroho said the two perpetrators had been named suspects and were detained at the Tangerang City Metro Police Sat Tahti Detention Center.

Zain explained that the letter forgery case was revealed after reports from residents at the Rawa Boni Village Office while taking care of the name of the UN with several letter documents. However, when given a signature, it is suspected that it does not belong to the latest Rawa Boni village coconut official.

On that basis, he reported to the police in May 2022 to take further action.

"Yes, that's right, we have detained the two individuals at the Sat Tahti Polres Detention Center," said Zain in his statement, Monday, July 17.

Zain added that his party was still investigating the case to reveal whether there were other victims in the forgery of letters in the Pakuhaji area, Tangerang Regency.

"Currently the team is still investigating and developing whether there are still residents who are victims of forgery by these individuals. We will inform you later," he said.

The two suspects were charged with Article 263 Jo 55 of the Criminal Code with a penalty of 6 years in prison.
