Jokowi Checks IKN Nusantara Design Work At Nyoman Nuarta Gallery Bandung

JABAR - President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) inspects the Nyoman Nuarta Gallery located on Jalan Setraduta, West Bandung Regency, West Java, Wednesday 12 July.

The visit of the head of state was to check the work at the gallery for the State Capital (IKN) of the Archipelago in East Kalimantan (Kaltim).

Artist Nyoman Nuarta was previously chosen to design the IKN area. The design of the state palace at IKN in the form of a Garuda is also the work of Nyoman Nuarta.

"I came to Pak Nyoman Nuarta's factory to ensure that the construction of the IKN, especially the Presidential Palace, went according to its time," said the President after reviewing the work at the gallery, confiscated by Antara.

From the review carried out, Jokowi believes that IKN's work will run well and according to the targeted time. According to him, the materials made in the gallery are in accordance with field conditions.

"I can see the field directly, the coloring, so that later it can match the field," he said.

In the near future, Jokowi admitted that he would return to visit IKN Nusantara in East Kalimantan, to see the development process there.

"Maybe before October. But the minister goes there every day, the Head of IKN also goes there who always reports to me," said Jokowi.

The visit to the Nyoman Nuarta Gallery was the last activity of a series of working visits by the President in West Java on July 11-12 2023.

Previously, the President had visited Kertajati International Airport (Majalengka), inaugurated the Cisumdawu (Sumedang) Toll Road, checked the people's market, and visited Si Jalak Harupat Stadium (Bandung Regency) while monitoring the selection of the U17 national team.
