JAKARTA - An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.4 rocked the west coast of Lampung on Wednesday at 17:40 WIB. This earthquake was centered at a depth of 10 kilometers.

Reporting from BMKG, Wednesday, January 27, the earthquake was at 5.13 latitude, 103.76 east longitude or 20 km northwest of the west coast of Lampung. The earthquake had no potential for a tsunami.

Earthquake shocks were felt in Liwa, South Bengkulu, Krui Sekincau and West Lampung on a scale of III MMI, and MMI II at Tanggamus and Way Kanan.
