JAKARTA - President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) reminded all people to adhere to the protocol after receiving the COVID-19 vaccination. This is important to do to prevent virus transmission.

"Yes, even though we have been vaccinated later, we should not forget that health protocols are maintained in a disciplined manner. Wear a mask, wash hands, keep your distance," said Jokowi after receiving the COVID-19 vaccination at the State Palace, Wednesday, January 27.

According to him, implementing health protocols is the key to controlling COVID-19 in the community, apart from giving vaccinations.

"(Health protocol, red) This is important because the key is there besides vaccination. The second key is to maintain health protocols, avoid crowds, reduce mobility everywhere," he said.

As previously reported, President Jokowi underwent the second phase of the COVID-19 vaccination. Just like the first vaccination, this time he received an injection of the Sinovac vaccine with a dose of 0.5 milliliters given by Prof. Dr. Abdul Muttalib.

Like during the first vaccination, the former Governor of DKI Jakarta said that he did not feel anything during the vaccine process. Even if there is something he feels, it is just aches like after he received the COVID-19 vaccine for the first time on January 13.

He also admitted that after this he would carry out his activities normally even though he had just run the COVID-19 vaccine.

As for the second vaccine program, President Jokowi received vaccines with a number of elements of society and high state officials, such as the TNI Commander, the National Police Chief, representatives of businessmen, representatives of medical personnel, representatives of small traders, and representatives of religious leaders.
