Hands Are No Longer Shaking When Injecting Jokowi, Prof. Abdul Muthalib: More Relaxed, Because I Used To It

JAKARTA - Professor Abdul Muthalib finished injecting the second phase of the COVID-19 vaccine to President Joko Widodo at the Presidential Palace complex, Wednesday, January 27.

The second stage of the vaccine injection process went smoothly. Abdul Muthalib's hand, who is also the Deputy Chief Medical Officer of the Presidency, is no longer shaking, like it was during the first injection. The reason is because they are used to vaccines.

"It's more relaxed because I am getting used since the first vaccination," said Dr. Abdul Muthalib after injecting the vaccine to President Joko Widodo, Wednesday, January 27.

He also expressed his gratitude to President Jokowi for still giving him the opportunity; i.e. injecting the second stage of the COVID-19 vaccine.

"I would like to express my deepest gratitude to President Joko Widodo for still giving me trust," he said.

On this occasion, Abdul Muthalib emphasized that the vaccine injected to Jokowi was the Sinovac brand. The Chinese-made vaccine and nothing else.

"I emphasize that the vaccines that are being injected are synovac vaccines and not other vaccines," he said.
