The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) has confirmed that the investigation into the alleged corruption in the implementation of the 2022 Formula E racing event in DKI Jakarta continues. This case is still under investigation. "It is still being investigated. The anti-corruption commission is confirmed to continue investigating cases even though one of the related parties is the former Governor of DKI Jakarta Anies Baswedan. Asep said that eradicating corruption would not be affected by the issue of presidential candidacy. "The handling of criminal acts here is not related to anything. So we are purely handling without being disturbed by other problems," he said. "So we handle it, yes, just handle it with nothing to do with anything," continued Asep. For information, the KPK is investigating allegations of corruption in the implementation of Formula E. There are several parties who have been summoned, namely the former Governor of DKI Jakarta Anies Baswedan to the Chairman of the DKI Jakarta DPRD, Prasetyo Edi Marsudi. Later, the KPK revealed that there were a number of difficulties in investigating this case. Among other things, they cannot access information on a forced basis as during the investigation. Investigators need this information but they cannot do much. In addition, the calculation of state losses caused by the implementation of the international racing event has not yet been completed.
