JAKARTA - PT Taman Wisata Candi (TWC) Borobudur, Prambanan, and Ratu Boko predict that tourist destinations managed by TWC will be visited by 354,812 tourists during the school holiday season and Eid al-Adha 2023.

"This year's school holiday season, TWC destinations are predicted to be visited by 354,812 tourists, both domestic and foreign," said PT TWC President Director Febrina Intan in Sleman, Yogyakarta Special Region as quoted by Antara, Sunday.

According to him, this visit contributed about 53 to 71 percent of regular visits on weekdays.

"Tourism destinations managed by PT TWC include Borobudur Temple Tourism Park in Central Java and Prambanan Temple Tourism Park and Ratu Boko Temple Tourism Park in Sleman Regency, Yogyakarta," he said.

Febriana Intan also invited the Indonesian people to succeed in the Government of Indonesia's program in supporting the revival of local tourism through Proud to Travel in Indonesia #DiIndonesiaAja.

"The school holiday period along with the Eid holiday momentum is expected to encourage Indonesian tourism activities. Let's jointly take advantage of the momentum of this school holiday to encourage educational, creative and recreative tourism programs for visitors," he said.

He said collaboration between tourism actors, the government, the private sector, educational institutions, and also the people around the destinations was very helpful in presenting memorable tourism for tourists.

"This is certainly good to encourage Indonesian tourism to have more character and develop in the future," he said.
