Stepfather In Pademangan Jakut Molested His Daughter Until She Was 7 Months Pregnant, Arrested In Bogor Area

JAKARTA - The police arrested a man with the initials AS (42) for allegedly raping his stepdaughter, AP (17), resulting in the victim being 7 months pregnant. The incident occurred in the Pademangan area, North Jakarta.

Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of the North Jakarta Metro Police, AKBP Iverson Manossoh, said the arrest took place at Citra Sentul Raya Cluster Orinoco Housing, Bogor Regency, West Java, Saturday, June 10.

"It is true that the perpetrators of child rape or violence and threats of violence were arrested," Iverson told reporters at the North Jakarta Metro Police, Tuesday, June 13.

Based on the initial examination, Iverson said the victim's stepfather had committed sexual abuse since the victim was 7 years old and finally had intercourse with the 17-year-old victim.

"This act took place several times, until then in August 2022. AP victims experienced threats and violence. US perpetrators forced these stepchildren to commit sexual acts," he said.

Furthermore, the victim's mother, who knew her baby, began to change her body, began to ask AP. As a result, the depraved act of her step husband was revealed.

On that basis, the victim's mother made a report to the North Jakarta Metro Police. However, the perpetrator fled until he was finally arrested in the Bogor Regency area.

"Article 81 of Law No. 17 of 2016 concerning the implementation of government regulations in lieu of Law No.1 of 2016 concerning the second amendment to Law No. 23 of 2002 concerning Child Protection, with a maximum imprisonment of 15 years," he concluded.
