Living In The Kelapa Gading Luxury Apartment, A Pakistani Citizen Arrested After Hipnotis The Owner Of A Stall

Central Jakarta Metro Police arrested a Pakistani citizen named Moslem bin Mohram Husein (35), after being hypnotized by the owner of a food stall in the Sawah Besar area, Central Jakarta, some time ago.

The suspect named Moslem was arrested at the French Walk apartment, Lyon Garden Tower, Kelapa Gading District, North Jakarta. Moslem was arrested while hiding with his wife and children.

Central Jakarta Metro Police Chief Kombes Komarudin said the suspect was a resident from Karachi, Pakistan. When interrogated, the suspect admitted that this was the first time he had committed a hypnotized crime.

"He has admitted his actions, he did that and the victim's loss was around Rp. 6 million. The incident occurred in Sawah Besar, when the suspect was caught on CCTV cameras," said Kombes Komarudin when confirmed, Monday, June 12.

Currently, the Central Jakarta Metro Police Criminal Investigation Unit is still investigating the suspect, Moslem. The perpetrator is also already in the detention cell of the Central Jakarta Police Headquarters.

"The suspect's motive was deliberately to trick the shop owner by exchanging money. In the action, the perpetrator said that he had fresh money or exchanged money. Then it was shown by the mother (the shop owner) that under the jar there was money," he said.

The Central Jakarta Metro Police will also coordinate with immigration to check valid visas and others.

"His visa is a visit. His confession is selling or trading. When viewed from his passport, it is stated that he will continue to be investigated for immigration. Our suspect applies Article 362 of the Criminal Code concerning theft with a threat of up to 5 years in prison," he said.
