The Champions City Against Inter League Final Nobar Colored By Stabbing 2 Police In Kendari, Here's The Chronology

SULTRA - Samapta personnel from the Southeast Sulawesi (Sultra) Regional Police with the initials YM and AF were stabbed by an unknown person (OTK). The stabbing occurred while watching together (nobar) the 2023 Champions League final Manchester City against Inter Milan.

The Southeast Sulawesi Regional Police explained the chronology starting with YM and AF being invited by their colleague with the initials E to go to a hotel on Jalan Edi Sabara, West Kendari District, Kendari City in the early hours of Sunday, June 13.

"So initially, E contacted his police friends," said Head of Public Relations of the Southeast Sulawesi Police, Kombes Pol Ferry Walintukaan, in Kendari, Monday, June 12, as reported by Antara.

He revealed that when he gathered, E said goodbye to come out for a while. However, E was involved in an argument with the alleged perpetrator in the parking lot.

"Then when E wanted to come out for a while, it turned out that he was noisy with the alleged perpetrator," he said.

When he saw his colleague arguing, YM and AF came out with the intention to help E. However, unfortunately, the two Samapta Polda Sultra personnel were stabbed by the perpetrator.

"But it turned out that both of them were immediately stabbed by the alleged perpetrator at that time using badik," he said.

Ferry said that the initial commotion was thought to have started with the colleague of the two police officers, with the initials E, who was disturbed by the perpetrators, so that both of them had to come to help their colleagues.

He mentioned that due to the incident, the two policemen suffered stab wounds to the abdomen and hands.

One of the victims suffered a stab wound to the stomach. While the other victim was injured in the hand, actually the friend who asked them to hang out was still in a family relationship. Maybe he doesn't accept being disturbed," he said.

Ferry added that E, a colleague of the victim, had reported the stabbing to the Southeast Sulawesi Regional Police.

"So the perpetrator is temporarily identified as one person, and is still being chased," he said.
