Police Ensure There Is No Report On Dedy Susanto

JAKARTA - The case of alleged sexual abuse involving psychologist Dedy Susanto is currently a hot topic of discussion on social media. In fact, a number of his female patients began to talk about the alleged obscene acts Dedy had committed.

The suspicion of this obscene act became crowded after the celebrity program and television drama Revina VT uploaded a screen capture containing Dedy Susanto's conversation with a patient on his Instagram account.

The conversation shows the psychologist's request to his patient to book a hotel room which will be used for therapy. Apart from that, in that conversation Susanto also gave an excuse if psychological therapy should be in the room in the hotel.

Then, the psychologist also promised that if the patient booked a hotel room, the therapy fee would be provided free of charge.

Not long after, Dedy Susanto responded to the upload and denied the allegation. In fact, he emphasized that all the things that were mentioned were just slander.

Although this case is widely discussed on social media, it is not yet in the realm of crime. Head of Public Relations of Polda Metro Jaya, Kombes Yusri Yunus, said that until now the police had not yet received a police report on the case.

"So far we do not know (whether there is a report or not). But I will confirm whether there is or not," said Yusri.
