MAKASSAR - One person who raped a woman with a disability was arrested by the police. This perpetrator was also involved in the case of extortion of the victim's mother with threats of distributing rape videos.

"The wanted perpetrator, Angga Saputra, was arrested on Thursday, January 21, in the early hours of the morning at Jalan Hertasning, Makassar," said Head of Sub-Directorate for Criminal Investigation of the South Sulawesi Regional Police, Kompol Suprianto, to reporters, Friday, January 22.

Perpetrator Angga was involved with his two colleagues, Wr and Gu in raping a minor by picking up the victim on Tuesday, January 19. The victim was picked up on a motorbike.

"The victim was picked up by unknown men who each used a motorbike, and then took the victim away without the parents' knowledge," said Police Commissioner Suprianto.

Previously, the Makassar Police Unit Jatanras Team arrested two men with the initials Wr (17) and Gu who raped persons with disabilities who were underage.

Kasubnit 2 Jatanras Polrestabes Makassar Ipda Ahmad Syah Jamal, said the two were arrested when the two suspects were at Jalan Muhammad Yamin, Makassar City.

There are 3 perpetrators in this case, all of whom have been arrested. The arrest was made after the victim's mother reported to the police. The victim's mother was also blackmailed by the perpetrator who threatened to distribute the rape video. When raping, there is a perpetrator who recorded.

The three perpetrators of the rape of Wr, Gu, and Ag are now detained at the Makassar Police. The three of them were named as suspects.

The three perpetrators were charged under Article 76 E Paragraph (2) Sub Article 81 paragraph (1) Law Number 35 Year 2014 concerning Child Protection in conjunction with Article 285 of the Criminal Code.
