The Increase Of COVID-19 Cases Died Today, Print Records, Most In Central Java

JAKARTA - The increase in positive cases of COVID-19 who died today has reached a new record, namely as many as 346 cases. The total number of deaths to date has reached 27,203 cases.

The province with the highest number of deaths today is in Central Java, namely 101 cases with a total of 4,843 deaths.

Then, West Java Province with 73 cases of COVID-19 died, East Java with 60 cases, DKI Jakarta with 30 cases, and East Kalimantan with 11 cases.

Meanwhile, as many as 21 other provinces had an increase in death cases with a number below 10. Then, there are 8 provinces that did not have an increase in death cases today.

There were 67,454 specimens examined with 11,703 new positive cases of COVID-19. The total accumulated positive cases since COVID-19 was discovered in Indonesia reached 951,651 people.

The province with the most new cases was in DKI Jakarta with 3,151 new cases and a total of 239,226 cases. DKI is the province with the most cases in Indonesia.

Followed by Central Java which has 1.96 new cases with a total of 109,827 cases. West Java has 1,228 new cases and a total of 118,798 cases. Then, East Java has 1,134 new cases and a total of 103,286 cases.

Cases recovered today increased by 9,087 so that a total of 772,790 people recovered. The province with the most cases recovered today belongs to DKI Jakarta with an additional 2,570 recovered cases. Followed by West Java with an increase of 1,584 recovered cases, Central Java with an increase of 1,120 recovered cases, and East Java with an increase of 968 recovered cases.

No province reported having no new cases as of today. Provinces that reported new cases under 10 were Gorontalo with 7 cases and North Maluku with 7 cases.

In addition, the number of specimens examined reached 8,560,220. In detail, 8,423,901 specimens were examined using real-time polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR) and 136,319 using molecular rapid tests (TCM).

A cumulative positive result per number of people examined or a positivity rate of 16.6 percent.

Finally, for the number of people suspected of having contracted COVID-19 or who are currently categorized as suspected cases, it was recorded at 79,200 people. Currently, 510 districts / cities from 34 provinces have cases of COVID-19.
